Juicing or fasting is a excellent way to allow your body to cleanse itself because everytime you eat solid foods your body needs to take more energy to process and eliminate the solids, moving them through your body to get pooped out. When you fast on liquid of any kind your body has the chance to detoxify internal organs and process the accumulated foods that get caught in the colon.

It is important to try and ease into and out of the fast so that your body is more accustomed to the switch in diet, you can do this by increasing liquid intake and slowly decreasing solid intake, increase fruit consumption and decrease roughage and nut type foods that take longer to digest. This should be followed after ending your fast also, start with soft fruits then after a couple days move to salads and then nuts and dehydrated foods so that your body isn't overloaded with digestion needs.
Simple water fasting is not recommended by me unless you do it for just one to three days at most.
Using home made herbal teas you can practically juice indefinitely because you can attain the needed nutrients for survival in a liquid form.
Vegetable soup broths is acceptable also even ones with meat if your so inclined to ingest animals (I recommend not obviously) which is still healthier than eating the actual meat.
Juicing fruits and vegetables provides a great taste and an awesome amount of nutrition that is easily assimilable just like herbal tea as it is mostly liquid it can absorb right into the body.
Utilizing enemas and Hot Baths and other natural healing therapies is even more beneficial while fasting than when constipated with even healthy foods from eating daily.

Here are some videos I have made while I fasted recently, On my first day I drank only water and some lower bowel formula to cleanse my colon, on the second day I had herbal teas and started juicing green vegetables and fruits, I suggest trying to use your pulp by adding it to dehydrated mixture so you can eat it after the fast. The third day was mostly vegetable juices I went to the Ecopolitan in Minneapolis and got a few orders of carrot juice, a green juice, lemonade juice and some coconut water. On my fourth day fasting I made various herbal teas to help cleanse my body as seen on the second video in my tea page and did a catnip enema and a hot diaphoretic bath. On my fifth day I started with lemon juice and apple cider vinegar to get my liver activating and also made some more liver gall bladder formula and blood cleansing formula teas which i mixed with grape juice to mask the taste which worked out very well, later in the day I mainly had carrot juice.

Water fasting is naturally deep cleansing, juice fasting is great for the digestive system but not very cleansing, with herbal formulas you can induce cleansing but the body will still receive small amounts of fibre and calories.

Loren Lockman from Costa Rica with water fasting information on his youtube channel is excellent.
